A second candidate release of WSJT-X 2.0, is now available for download and use by beta testers. Changes in WSJT-X 2.0.0-rc2 relative to -rc1 include the following:<\/p>\n
– Corrected a flaw that encoded a message’s first callsign as
\nhexadecimal telemetry data if the call consisted only of letters
\nA-F and digits 0-9.<\/p>\n
– Corrected program logic that failed to identify certain callsigns
\nas “nonstandard”.<\/p>\n
– Fixed a bug that color-highlighted bare CQ messages (no grid
\nlocator) as “New DXCC”.<\/p>\n
– Fixed a bug that failed to log Report Sent if MyCall is a
\nnonstandard call.<\/p>\n
– Fixed a bug that generated incorrect MSK144 tones for certain
\nmessages and caused a “memory” effect on stations receiving the
\nincorrect tones.<\/p>\n
– Fixed several bugs that could cause certain Tx messages to crash
\nthe program.<\/p>\n
– Suppressed the display of certain illogical false decodes.<\/p>\n
